Tour2Cure Around Mille Lacs

This bike tour is around beautiful Mille Lacs Lake in central Minnesota. All proceeds from the tour will be donated to the American Cancer Society in support of their mission: “...dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.” Visit Cancer.org for more information.

Headquarters/Start:

Tour headquarters will be at McQuoid’s Inn, Isle, MN, which is at the junction of Hwy 47 and Hwy 18 (1/4 mile north of Isle) on Mille Lacs Lake. Both the 25 mile and the 70 mile rides begin and end at McQuoid’s. For overnight accommodations at McQuoid’s call 800-863-3535.

Route:

The Tour2Cure Around Mille Lacs incorporates the Soo Line Trail on the south side of Mille Lacs. The 70 milers go clockwise around Mille Lacs taking advantage of many scenic inside shortcuts, keeping the majestic lake on the riders right side.

Services/ Guidelines:

Sag wagons will cruise the course if assistance is needed. Beverages and snacks (for example fruit, muffins etc) will be provided at rest stops. There will be one rest stop on the 25 mile course and three on the 70 mile course.

HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS.

Riders are expected to obey the laws of the road and to use courtesy, caution and common sense.

Both courses will be well marked

Children under age 18 must be accompanied by parent/guardian throughout the tour.

Registration:

Pre-register before May 1, 2018.

T-shirts can not be guaranteed for registrations received after May 1.

There will be no registration refunds. This is a rain or shine event.

Day of event registration and check in will be open from 7:30-9:00 am. Check in and start your tour.

I, my estate, and my heirs waive any claims for damages or injuries that I may incur as a result of my participation in this event, any sponsor, volunteer, employees or officials. I understand that helmets are required for all riders. I am well aware that I’m expected to ride with courtesy, caution and common sense. I know that this ride is held rain or shine and that registration refunds will not be made.
